What is Gold filled?

Gold filled is the next best alternative to solid gold and a fraction of the price. Gold filled metals are not prone to tarnishing or oxidizing. They are also safe to wear in water and require very minimal care to keep them looking their best. At most, the surface can appear dull over time simply due to dirt and oils collecting on the surface from wear. This can easily be wiped or rinsed away. It will not tarnish, flake, or turn colors as with gold plated metals, and can last a lifetime of wear with proper care. While we recommend taking steps to care for your jewelry, gold filled necklaces and bracelets made with our materials can be worn 24/7 with occasional cleaning only when needed.
 

How do I care for my Gold filled jewelry?

Gold filled necklaces and bracelets made with our materials can be worn 24/7 with occasional cleaning only when needed, however we do recommend taking the following steps to care for your jewelry.
 

• Remove jewelry during physical activities

• Remove jewelry when using chemicals: shampoos, harsh soaps, lotions, makeup, hairspray, etc. Avoid chlorine, pools, hot tubs or spas. Put jewelry on last.

• Regularly clean your jewelry using mild soap. Pat dry. Do not rub. Store your jewelry in a dry, air-tight area.
   

Can I wear 14kt Gold filled jewelry if I have sensitive skin?
If you can wear solid gold, it's almost certain that you can wear Gold filled without worry of allergic reaction.

Can you stamp both sides of the disc?
We currently do not offer stamping on the back of our pieces. Hand stamping is a high impact process, and a slight impression will show on the reverse side.

How long will my order take to ship?

It takes 1-3 business days to create your item, then it'll be ready to ship. Shipping within Canada can take 5-20 days. Due to COVID, there may be some delays with shipping times. If you need your order sooner, please select the faster shipping option.
 

Do you accept returns?

If you are not happy with your order, please contact me immediately. Customer satisfaction is a priority for me! I will gladly accept returns if the item is not personalized and refund the purchase price of the item. Please note that the buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back. I ask that you please return the jewelry back in its original condition and in the jewelry bag it was received in. Once I have received the jewelry back, I will contact you immediately to let you know and then refund the money.

For custom orders, if I made a mistake on your order, I will gladly refund the item or remake it with the correct information.
